Turn any web page into a JSON API

Click the values you care about. We read that page on our servers every time your endpoint is called — no browser, no scraping code, no maintenance.

Free to start. No account needed to create your first API.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick the values

Open any page, start the picker and click the elements you want. Each one becomes a named field in your JSON.

  2. 2

    We read it for you

We fetch the page from our servers and apply your selectors. If the page needs JavaScript we switch to a headless browser automatically.

  3. 3

    Call your endpoint

You get a URL straight away. Call it from anywhere — a cron job, a spreadsheet, your app. Fresh data whether or not your browser is open.

Built for the parts that usually break

Scrapers rarely fail on day one. They fail three weeks later, quietly. These are the things we handle so that does not happen.

Keyless by default

Your endpoint works the moment it exists — paste it into a spreadsheet formula or a cron job with no secrets to manage. Turn on an API key whenever you want it private.

Tables that keep reordering

Pick the column that identifies a row, then pick your values. The lookup follows the row by name, so a ranked table reshuffling itself does not silently swap your data.

Edit without leaving the page

Reopen an API and every field is listed one by one inside the popup. Hover a field and it lights up on the page, so you can see exactly what it is pinned to.

Works with your browser closed

The extension is only the picker. All reading happens server-side, so your endpoint keeps returning fresh data with your machine switched off.

JavaScript pages included

We try a plain HTTP fetch first because it is fast, and fall back to a headless browser when the values are not in the initial HTML. Nothing to configure.

One page, one API

Everything you pick on a URL lands in a single response. Come back later, add another field, and the same API grows instead of multiplying into duplicates.

Rate limits exist to prevent abuse, not to push you upwards. The only difference that really matters between the plans is how long an API stays alive. Keyless traffic is additionally capped at 120 requests per hour per IP address.

No VAT is charged: we are a small business under § 19 of the German VAT Act, so the price above is the total you pay.

Questions people ask first

Do I need to write any code?

No. You click the values on the page and name them. The result is a URL you can call from anything that speaks HTTP — including a spreadsheet formula.

Can it read pages behind a login?

No. We read the page as an anonymous visitor from our own servers, so anything that requires your session is out of reach.

Does my browser have to stay open?

No. The extension is only used to pick the values. Once the API exists, every call fetches the page from our servers, so your machine can be switched off.

What about pages that render with JavaScript?

They work. We try a plain HTTP fetch first because it is faster and cheaper, and automatically fall back to a headless browser when the values are not present in the initial HTML.

What happens if the site changes its layout?

Selectors can break when markup is rebuilt. We mark an API as failing after three consecutive misses, so you find out from the dashboard instead of from a silently empty field. Reopening the API and re-picking the field fixes it.

Is this polite to the sites being read?

We identify ourselves with a descriptive user agent, respect robots.txt, cache responses for 60 seconds and limit ourselves to roughly one request per second per domain. You are responsible for having the right to access the data you collect.
